Physician Interventional Pain Management

Full-Time Tampa Florida MondayFriday No Hospital Call

We are seeking a compassionate skilled and motivated Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our established outpatient practice in the Tampa Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity to practice evidence-based interventional pain medicine in a collaborative environment with experienced providers dedicated clinical support and a strong referral network.

• Full-time

• Monday through Friday

• Outpatient practice

• Shared after-hours telephone call approximately once every 46 weeks

• Evaluate diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

• Develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans.

• Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures including:

  • Epidural steroid injections

  • Facet injections

  • Medial branch blocks

  • Radiofrequency ablation

  • Peripheral nerve blocks

• Evaluate and manage candidates for advanced pain therapies including:

  • Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)

  • Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation

  • Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)

  • Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems (Pain Pumps)

• Collaborate closely with primary care providers specialists therapists and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.

• Educate patients regarding diagnoses treatment options expectations and long-term pain management strategies.

• Maintain timely accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.

• Stay current with advancements in interventional pain medicine and participate in continuing medical education.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).

• Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through:

  • Anesthesiology

  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)

• Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.

• Experience performing interventional pain procedures; neuromodulation and implant experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
