Monday Friday: 8:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. MST

Sunday Clinic (when scheduled): 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m.

Holiday Clinic (when scheduled): 12:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m.

May be required to work beyond the established schedule when necessary to complete ongoing or emergent patient-care activities or Clinical documentation.
Contract Length: 6 weeks with the option to extend / 1099 contract
Estimated Start Date: Pending Award and Completion of Credentialing Process
Compensation:

Regular Pay Rate: $85 per hour

Travel weekly stipends: $1246 (If applicable)

Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services in a rural outpatient setting. The provider will evaluate diagnose and treat patients of all ages while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
Requirements:

Current resume with complete work history (employment gaps of 8 weeks or more must be explained).

Active unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in any U.S. state or territory

Current NCCPA certification

Current BLS certification
-
Three professional references (dated within the last 6 months): one supervisor and two peers
-
Proof of professional liability insurance ($per occurrence / $aggregate)

Documentation of continuing education (minimum 20 CME/CEU credits per year within the past 3 years).

Evidence of CME compliance for credentialing and reappointment

Government-issued photo ID (required upon contract award)

Ability to pass IHS background and onboarding requirements
Responsibilities:

Evaluate diagnose and treat patients in an outpatient primary care setting
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the scope of practice
-
Order interpret and document laboratory and diagnostic test results

Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical privileges and facility guidelines

Perform minor medical procedures as authorized by clinical privileges

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care

Educate patients and families on treatment plans preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) while adhering to IHS policies and quality standards
