Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Salem OR 97301
Contract: 26 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 40 Hours/Week
Holiday Guarantee: 32 hours during holiday weeks
Overtime: 1.5
On-Call: None
Pay/Billing: Weekly

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapists in providing quality patient care. The PTA will assist with therapeutic exercises mobility training functional activities patient education and clinical documentation.

• Assist Physical Therapists with patient treatment plans and therapy programs.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility strength balance and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment activities accurately.
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and proper techniques.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies safety procedures and infection-control standards.
• Provide safe professional and patient-centered care.

• Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license.
• Previous experience in the required clinical setting.
• Ability to work day shifts and complete 40 hours per week.
• Must meet all facility credentialing and compliance requirements.
• Required certifications may vary based on facility needs.

Depending on the facility required certifications may include:

• BLS/BCLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• ASHA
• CHT
• ACP Training
