Physical Therapy Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in planning and implementing treatment programs for residents
• Deliver therapy services in accordance with treatment plans and facility guidelines
• Help residents improve mobility strength balance and coordination
• Monitor and document resident progress; report changes to supervising therapist
• Educate residents and family members on safe mobility techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina PTA license
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability (if required)

Work setting:

• Inpatient
• Skilled nursing facility
• Rehabilitation center

Pay: $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
