Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide high-quality physical therapy interventions and rehabilitation services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on implementing established patient care plans treating patients with varied physical limitations tracking therapeutic progress and collaborating within a clinical environment to maximize positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitation treatmentsand exercises safely per the licensed Physical Therapists evaluation and care plan.
• Instruct and motivate patientsthrough therapeutic modalities functional training and mobility techniques.
• Document clinical encounters accurately detailing patient progress responses to therapy treatments and measurable physiological modifications.
• Maintain precise communicationsacross the interdisciplinary health team regarding changes in patient status or tolerance levels.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience:Minimum of 1 to 2 years of active clinical experience as a PTA is required.

• Licensure:Active unrestricted physical therapy assistant license/certification in the State of California.

• Life Support:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
