Job Summary
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based pediatric position in Northampton Massachusetts. This role is ideal for PTs seeking school-based experience pediatric therapy and a flexible schedule.
We welcome new grads experienced Physical Therapists and retired PTs.
- Location: Northampton MA
- Position Type: W2 Employee Contract
- Schedule: Flexible schedule / Part-Time / 3 Days
- Pay: $45$60 per hour (based on experience)
- Setting: School-based / Public schools (K12)
- Provide school-based physical therapy to pediatric students (K12)
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Write and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and group sessions)
- Improve student mobility strength balance and coordination
- Collaborate with special education teams OTs SLPs and teachers
- Attend IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required
- Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent)
- Interest or experience in pediatrics schools or special education preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
