Physical Therapist

Were seeking an innovative Physical Therapist to join our team at our Irmo location. If youre excited about working with experienced clinicians as well as young and energized clinicians a varied patient population ranging from young athletes to older adults orthopedics hand neurological vestibular/balance post-surgical then this is the clinic to grow in.  

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physicians referral (prescription) and the patients condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings progress and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care develop goals based on evaluation findings and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes weekly workers compensation reports progress reports initial evaluations discharge summaries and incident reports

Qualifications :

• New grads encouraged to apply!
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in South Carolina
• Passion for orthopedic and serving the needs of the community
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate patients
• Collaborative mindset thriving in a team-based environment where ideas are shared and innovation is encouraged
• Continuous learner mentality with a commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
