Your Everyday Impact
- Lead the care journey Prioritize coordinate and manage all aspects of rehabilitation for your patients
- Collaborate across care teams Partner with interdisciplinary teammates to align goals and improve outcomes
- Deliver plan-driven care Ensure therapy aligns with each patients individualized medical plan
- Promote safety Maintain a safe supportive environment for patients families and staff
- Educate and engage Communicate with patients and families on progress care plans and next steps
- Ensure continuity Deliver a seamless efficient patient experience from evaluation through discharge
- Support your team Step in to help others and contribute to a collaborative culture
- Guide and mentor Provide oversight to ancillary staff and support team development
- Adapt care in real time Reassess progress and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and CMS guidelines
- Document with accuracy Record evaluations interventions and outcomes clearly and timely
- Drive quality improvement Use data to support outcomes and enhance program performance
- Assess with expertise Perform age-appropriate evaluations and support accreditation standards (CARF and more)
Excellence in Practice
- Maintain accurate daily statistics and billing documentation
- Contribute to Quality Management initiatives and performance improvement
- Support compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a clinical resource to leadership and team members
Collaboration & Leadership
- Communicate effectively to support optimal patient outcomes and a positive work environment
- Participate in team conferences department meetings and organizational forums
- Provide guidance to both new and experienced staff
- Assume lead therapist responsibilities when assigned
What Youll Need
- Degree in Physical Therapy (BS Masters or Doctorate)
- Current Louisiana Physical Therapist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) American Heart Association
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification (or obtained upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a rehabilitation or similar clinical setting
- Certifications in specialized areas (manual therapy dry needling vestibular rehab womens health)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
