Physical Therapist Assistant (Traumatic Brain Injury)

Were seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant in Tampa Florida to treat patients with traumatic brain injuries.

The Position: Our Client is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant. While TBI experience is a plus its not requiredwe welcome eager learners. They are offering the following compensation and benefits:

Job Responsibilities

  • Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM With 1 Hour Lunch
  • Directly deliver and monitoring patient rehabilitation under the guidance of a physical therapist.
  • Instruct patients through targeted exercise programs.
  • Administer specialized therapeutic modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout every session.
  • Maintain meticulous compliant clinical documentation.
  • Educate patients and their families on home care and recovery strategies.
  • Manage equipment upkeep.
  • 100% Outpatient Opportunity

Requirements

  • Active Florida PTA License
  • Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
  • TBI Experience Helpful But Not Required. New Grads Welcome
  • Excellent communication skills to work with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physical therapy principles.
  • Ability to assess patient conditions and modify treatments based on feedback from the physical therapist.
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with patients.
  • Prior experience in personal injury preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience treating patients with TBIs preferred.
