Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist the PTA will:
- Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
- Help patients improve strength mobility balance function and independence
- Collaborate with the PT nursing staff patients and families
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication
- Educate patients families and facility staff as appropriate
- Provide compassionate patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/post-acute rehabilitation setting
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
