As part of our rehabilitation team youll work alongside experienced Physical Therapists Occupational Therapists Speech-Language Pathologists nursing staff physicians and caregivers to help patients regain strength mobility and independence.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) youll provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Youll work with patients recovering from surgery illness injury and hospitalization while helping them safely improve mobility balance endurance strength and functional independence.

Every treatment session is an opportunity to help patients achieve meaningful progress toward returning to their highest level of function.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving mobility balance gait strength endurance and functional independence.
• Accurately document treatments patient progress and daily billing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients families and caregivers on home exercise and maintenance programs.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with all state licensure requirements and Concept Rehab policies.
• Demonstrate Concept Rehabs core values of Commitment Respect and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice (or eligible for licensure).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for helping older adults maximize mobility safety and independence.
