Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full-Time
Pleasant Hill Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay range of $47$53 per hour (DOE) and a comprehensive benefits package.
Schedule: MondayFriday Full-Time
Pay: $47$53 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assists the supervising Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care. The PTA works closely with residents families nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services that promote independence mobility and overall well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Complete timely accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with facility policies governmental regulations and third-party payer requirements.
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control safety and equipment maintenance protocols.
Participate in Resident Care Conferences and Rehabilitation Department meetings as needed.
Assist the nursing department with training and support of Restorative Aides.
Communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure timely updates regarding resident progress goals physician communication discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination.
Provide in-service training and educational programs for facility staff as needed.
Educate residents families and caregivers on treatment plans home exercise programs safety techniques maintenance programs and fall prevention strategies.
Recommend and assist with obtaining durable medical equipment to promote resident independence and safety including walkers canes splints elevated toilet seats grab bars and other adaptive equipment.
Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information at all times.
Report equipment issues promptly to ensure all rehabilitation equipment remains in safe working condition.
Participate in quality assurance performance improvement initiatives and rehabilitation program development.
Build positive professional relationships with residents families staff members and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program required.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California required.
