Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistantto provide skilled physical therapy services to patients across Senior Living Communities. In this role you will be instrumental in helping seniors recover enhance mobility and maintain their independence through tailored physical therapy treatment plans.

Schedule and service areas:

• PRN to cover the West Valley & East Valley

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associates degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association Inc.
2. Current certification or license as required by state law.
3. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
4. Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
5. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organizations requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The various responsibilities for a Physical therapy assistant are often physically demanding and

require that therapists be in good physical condition.

• Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking standing reaching

stooping bending kneeling or crouching.

• Able to lift position or transfer patients as well as supplies and equipment; minimum

lifting required is 25 lbs.

• Visual acuity and hearing to perform required therapy skills.
• Must be able to complete a max assist patient transfer independently.
