Duties and Responsibilities of the Special Education Teacher:
- Facilitate learning of academic social and life skills.
- Develop advanced lesson plans and performance tasks with desired stated outcomes for each plan of teaching.
- Maintain thorough and organized working files for all students receiving services.
- Administers pre/post tests and incorporates results and needs of students into educational planning.
Requirements: Secondary Science or Physical Ed/Health K-12 certification. Special Education certification is preferred.
