Job Summary
Under the guidance of supervision the Phlebotomy Student Intern will have the opportunity to participate and learn about the various duties and responsibilities of a phlebotomist while gaining a better understanding of healthcare patient experience and customer/patient satisfaction through a variety of assignments from shadowing staff in the field specimen handling education attending program meetings and trainings as well as a variety of other tasks.
- Prefer a willingness to learn.
- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of computers and commonly used applications.
- Prefer effective customer service skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public both in person and by telephone.
HS EQ: High School Diploma GED or Certificate
