- Perform lab duties such as blood draws vaccine administration point of care testing.
- Provide patient care basics able to manage medical tasks can collaborate with others and partners with clinicians to create positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Any certifications or qualifications needed: MA - Medical Assistant or National Phlebotomist Certification
- Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
- OR completed relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces
- OR possess a Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute (candidate must also have completed a medical assistant training program) For bullet # 3 we can accept an active or previously active Medical Assistant certification from one of these organizations: AMCA American Medical Certification Association AMT American Medical Technologists AAMA American Association of Medical Assistants NHA National Health career Association NCCT National Center for Competency Testing
