Job Summary

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist IIat Marinette WI! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II (part-time)

Location: Marinette WI 54143

Shift Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $20-22.26/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and accurately collect blood and other required specimens.
  • Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.
  • Properly identify label handle and maintain specimen integrity.
  • Manage and coordinate specimen drop-offs for the client.
  • Ensure all specimens are processed and prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide professional courteous and compassionate patient service.
  • Explain collection procedures clearly to patients and help create a comfortable experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established laboratory protocols.
  • Adhere to all applicable safety quality and compliance requirements.
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Maintain a clean organized and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED
  • Experience with:
  • Pediatric collections
  • Geriatric collections
  • Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education experience and healthcare credit.
