Job Summary
HJ Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Qualified Phlebotomist.
Location: 901 E 5th St Cleveland TX 77327
Note: Must not have any relation with anyone in the TDCJ / state penitentiary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and standard laboratory technician duties in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Lab Technicians in the State of Texas.
- Work compassionately and effectively with individuals with mental illness intellectual/developmental disabilities chemical dependency and social or physical disorders.
- Adhere strictly to the rules regulations and policies of HHSC Austin State Hospital and HJ Staffing (including leave and attendance policies).
- Complete all mandatory daily reporting laboratory documentation and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: One (1) year of phlebotomy / blood-drawing experience is preferred.
- Licensure & Certifications: Must hold and maintain current active state/national phlebotomy or lab technician certifications throughout the duration of the assignment.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills reliability and the ability to maintain composure in a mental health care facility setting.
