CompleteRx is excited to share a part-time (3 days per week) or full-time (4 days per week) Pharmacy Technician opportunity at Moore County Hospital District a 25-bed acute care hospital located in Dumas Texas.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position (32 hours/week): Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday (4 days per week)
• Part-Time position (24 hours/week): Monday Wednesday and Friday (3 days per week)
• Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• The pharmacy is closed during evenings and on weekends.

What You Will Do

• Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.
• Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts OR carts and floor stock accurately.
• Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.
• Rotates stock to ensure use before the expiration date.
• Picks up orders requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.
• Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs.

What You Will Need

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
• Possess current pharmacy technician registration in the State of Texas.
• Possess current National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Possess I.V. Certification or willing to obtain it within six months of your hire date.
• Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course is preferred.
