As a Pharmacy Technician youll work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist and help ensure medications are prepared accurately efficiently and on time.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assist pharmacists with filling and preparing prescription orders
• Package and label medications accurately
• Prepare medications for dispensing under pharmacist supervision
• Enter and maintain prescription and patient information
• Help organize medications and pharmacy supplies
• Support inventory and medication preparation processes
• Communicate with pharmacists team members and healthcare partners as needed
• Follow pharmacy procedures and applicable state and federal requirements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information
• Help keep pharmacy operations organized accurate and efficient

Depending on experience you may also work alongside senior or lead pharmacy technicians who can provide additional guidance and support.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration required
• PTCB certification required or equivalent certification as applicable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information
