Pharmacy Operations Manager Oncology

Take a tour of our campus: Department of Pharmacy consistent with the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine places a priority on teaching research and patient care. At Johns Hopkins Hospital the Weinberg Pharmacy is responsible for providing adult oncology acute and ambulatory care services.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of clinical and operational services and staff serving the adult oncology inpatient and ambulatory areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to human resources management clinical and operational policies and procedures federal and state regulatory compliance formulary and medication stewardship program enforcement pharmacy staff pharmacy student and pharmacy resident education collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues medication safety event review enhancement of informatics systems inventory management and departmental and hospital committee engagement. The Operations Manager will work with the departmental administrative team to assist in the oversight of the overall departments clinical pharmacy services and medication distribution processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm D. or BS degree.
• Completion of a post-graduate year I (PGY I) ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience (3 years general practice) required
• Completion of a post-graduate year 2 (PGY 2) ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience (3 years specialized practice) preferred
• Masters in business public health or other related field preferred
• 7 years of experience in pharmacy practice
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required.

Office:

Salary Range: Minimum 54.35/hour - Maximum 95.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
