Personnel Commissioner

The Simi Valley Unified School District Personnel Commission is seeking qualified community members interested in serving as the Joint Appointee Commissioner on the Personnel Personnel Commission consists of three members: one appointed by the Board of Education one nominated by the classified employees and appointed by the Board of Education and one appointed by those two Commissioners. Each Commissioner serves a three-year term of Personnel Commission meets monthly and is responsible for administering the Merit System for classified employees. Its guiding principle is to serve as an impartial body free from bias or the influence of any special interest group and to ensure that all matters affecting classified employees are handled fairly and based on merit and current recruitment is for the Joint Appointee Commissioner position. This Commissioner is appointed by the Board-appointed Commissioner and the classified employee-appointed Commissioner.
