What youll do:

The Personal Trainer builds the program activities and provide enjoyable fitness programs to members and non-members of all fitness levels in accordance with safe exercise guidelines

• Designs and implements safe effective and enjoyable fitness programs that will meet the unique needs and wants of each member.

• Plans and instructs individuals small groups or classes with a personalized approach following Center standards and guidelines.

• Contact members regularly to follow-up on the progression of their fitness program.

• Keeps accurate records of members progress.

• Discusses and promotes all Center programs. Motivates members to commit to long term participation.

• Ensures safe and effective workouts. Responds to and reports accidents incidents and equipment problems.

What youll need for this job:

Minimum Education:

• Required: Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:

• Required:1 year of previous personal training exercise experience required

Licensure/Certifications:

• Required:Personal Training certification (IDEA ACE AEA AFFA or other creditable group exercise certification).

• CPR Certification (American Heart Association)

Compensation:

Pay Range: $29.70

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
