Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Westland this role you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your assistance will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each client ensuring they receive the highest level of care and comfort.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
• Provide mobility support and help with transferring or repositioning clients safely.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients promoting their mental and social well-being.

• Previous experience in personal support or related caregiving role preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety procedures.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Flexible availability to accommodate clients schedules.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 paid twice a month.
