Seeking recent graduates Paraprofessionals Direct Support Professionals Habilitation Technicians Personal Care Aides Nurses Aides Caregivers those caring for a family member and those interested in working with individuals with Autism Cerebral Palsy Down Syndrome and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs).

BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Personal Support Assistant /DSP to work as a Caregiver for individuals with Autism intellectual or developmental caregivers embody both empathy and respect in every interaction striving to uplift and empower the people they support. Our caregivers provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community.

How Youll Make an Impact:

• Spend time on the clients favorite hobbies and activities.

• Participate in community integration activities errands and appointments.

• Patiently teach encourage and celebrate small achievements giving people the space to grow.

• Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our clinical managers.

• Provide personal care assistance as needed

Qualifications:

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or Developmental disabilities

• Ability to transport clients to community activities

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Be at least 18 years of age

• The ability to read and write in English

Type: Part-Time Weekdays Weekends available

Most Habilitation technicians begin with part-time hours based on client needs and staff availability with opportunities for growth based on performance client availability and scheduling needs.

Pay: Weekly; $20 and up based on experience

We have current Habilitation Technician / Direct Support Professional openings in the following locations:

• Hilo Keaau Mt View Pepeekeo Ocean View Waimea and the surrounding areas.
