- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients providing personalized advice and guidance on personal insurance policies including home auto and other lines of coverage.
- Assess clients needs to suggest appropriate insurance solutions focusing on long-term protection and financial security.
- Educate clients on the benefits and limitations of policy options to ensure informed decision-making.
- Prepare and present quotes process applications and finalize policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage policy renewals endorsements and cancellations ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
- Stay updated on industry trends compliance regulations and product offerings to better serve clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries claims or billing matters promptly and professionally.
- Continuously develop expertise through professional training and certification programs.
- Licensure:A valid state license to sell insurance products is required or must be obtained within a specific timeframe upon hire.
- Experience:Previous experience (13 years) in personal lines insurance or a related sales/customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Education:A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with a client-first mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in insurance software tools and basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
