Note

Candidates must have 2 years of personal injury litigation experience an active California Bar license and hands-on experience with discovery and depositions. We welcome attorneys from both plaintiff-side and defense-side litigation backgrounds. This is a fully in-office opportunity in Torrance CA.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury litigation matters involving motor vehicle accidents premises liability catastrophic injuries and negligence claims.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery requests and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions manage discovery and develop effective case strategies.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and experts to strengthen liability and damages claims.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and insurance carriers to pursue favorable outcomes.
• Prepare cases for mediation settlement and trial while taking increasing ownership of litigation matters.

Qualifications

• 2 years of personal injury litigation experience either plaintiff-side or defense-side.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Experience managing discovery and taking and defending depositions.
• Strong legal research writing negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines collaborate with colleagues and advocate effectively for clients.
• Commitment to working full-time on-site in Torrance CA.
