Pay: $120000.00 - $140000.00 per year

Location:

Kansas City Missouri. This is a full-time in-person opportunity.

Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Note:

Candidates must have 3 years of personal injury experience and an active Missouri and/or Kansas Bar license. We are looking for a proactive highly organized attorney who works well with a team maintains high professional standards and is committed to doing what is right for clients.

Job Description

• Develop case strategies and take ownership of executing them from evaluation through resolution.
• Manage personal injury matters across the pre-litigation and/or litigation process.
• Communicate directly with clients with empathy transparency and professionalism.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and advocate for strong client outcomes.
• Review medical records reports damages and other case evidence.
• Work closely with and supervise paralegals and legal assistants to keep cases progressing efficiently.
• Oversee settlement and lien-reduction processes.
• Collaborate with attorneys medical providers courts and other legal professionals.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen cases improve processes and deliver outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• 3 years of personal injury experience.
• Active Missouri and/or Kansas Bar license; admission in both states is preferred.
• Experience working directly with clients and insurance companies.
• Pre-litigation and/or litigation claims experience.
• Excellent organization prioritization communication and case-management skills.
• Proactive accountable collaborative and comfortable taking ownership.
• Strong commitment to quality work continued learning and exceptional client service.
