Personal Care Assistant

Join University Home Care Inc as a Personal Care Assistant in River Rouge MI where you will provide compassionate and individualized care to clients helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role involves assisting with daily living activities ensuring comfort and promoting a safe and supportive environment.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as any relevant healthcare regulations.

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Compassionate patient and attentive to client needs.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour paid twice an hour.
