Job Summary
Position: Perioperative Registered Nurse
Location: Thayer Center for Health Waterville
Schedule: Part-time (32 hours/week)
Shift: Days (M-F no call weekends or holidays)
Position Highlights:
This position is M-F with no call weekends or holidays. However you are expected to complete cross-campus training so you can float to the Alfond Center for Health if needed.
What Youll Do:
Plans implements and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Maintains and troubleshoots surgical equipment. Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
What Were Looking For:
Current State of Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly).
Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving abilities flexibility and critical thinking skills.
Effective communication skills with patients families and team members.

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience qualifications skills and market addition to base pay eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift weekend holiday on-call and other applicable differentials.
