Job Title: Performance Testing Engineer
Location: Columbus OH- 5 days onsite
Rate: $60-62/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Performance Testing Engineer to join our team at the client site in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner JMeter and BlazeMeter. This role requires hands-on experience in scripting coding execution and test analysis to ensure the quality and performance of our applications. The candidate will work closely with engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner JMeter and BlazeMeter.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application performance identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Conduct load and stress testing to evaluate system behavior under various conditions.
- Monitor system performance during testing and provide real-time feedback to stakeholders.
- Participate in performance tuning and Eligible to workimization efforts based on test findings.
- Document test plans test cases and test results for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing and quality assurance.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in performance testing tools: LoadRunner JMeter and BlazeMeter.
- Strong scripting and coding skills for test automation.
- Experience in test execution and analysis of performance metrics.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Engineering background or experience in software development.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools.
- Experience with cloud-based performance testing solutions.
