About the role:

As Analyst Paid Media you will own the day-to-day buying optimization and measurement of EverQuotes display and native channels. These are fast-growing channels for us and you will be the single owner: planning buying optimizing and proving out what works.

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with data solving complex problems and making a measurable impact. Analysts are not just a reporting function at EverQuote; they lead cross functional projects and data-driven decision-making the core of our operational philosophy as we revolutionize how people shop for insurance.

You will report to the Manager Paid Media and work closely with Data Science Marketing and Finance. We are looking for someone with analytical ability an interest in understanding marketplace dynamics and scaling our paid media channels.

What youll do:

• Own day-to-day buying bidding and pacing across display and native channels against monthly and quarterly targets
• Analyze performance metrics and trends in order to identify opportunities to grow our business
• Drive performance marketing and bidding through rapid testing and building scalable capabilities
• Design analyze and present channel tests such as creative geo holdouts or site experience tests Identify opportunities for improvement design test plans and measurement frameworks manage testing processes and implement winning strategies.
• Work directly with platform and managed-service partners and hold them accountable to their performance commitments
• Collaborate with product engineering data science and compliance teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Leverage your technical skills to automate operations reporting and modeling

What you bring to the team:

• Strong analytical mindset with a degree in Statistics Mathematics Economics Computer Science related field OR demonstrated analytical and technical experience
• Able to structure and break down a complex problem into its component parts
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Proficient in data analysis and with an understanding of statistics
• Capable of using data to tell a story and drive change
• Curious about what actually creates value in a media channel not just what the platform reports
• Comfortable owning a number and being accountable for it
• You are a team player and have the ability and desire to collaborate effectively
• Excited to relocate to Boston or already living here!

Nice to have:

• Native display or social display buying experience of any kind
• Hands-on experience in any biddable media platform: Google Ads Criteo Microsoft Audience Network or MSN MediaGo Outbrain Taboola The Trade Desk Amazon DSP
• SQL beyond the basics dbt warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery
• Performance marketing at a marketplace lead-generation or other business where revenue per session matters more than cost per acquisition
• Insurance fintech or other heavily regulated category

The base salary actually offered for this position is determined by several factors including the applicants job-related skills relevant experience education or training and work location. The base salary for this full-time hybrid role is $80000.

In addition to base salary our total compensation package may include participation in variable cash bonus programs equity and a comprehensive range of health welfare and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility which are designated by role.
