Job Summary
Baystate Health a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety is seeking aPer Diem Registered Nurseto join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team at Baystate Medical Center a Magnet recognized hospital for Nursing Excellence.
Our state-of-the-art Cath Lab includes four cardiac catheterization labs and one neuro lab supporting approximately 4000 cardiac and neurovascular procedures annually. Our nurses work collaboratively in scrub monitor and circulator roles with comprehensive orientation experienced team support and opportunities for professional growth.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
State-of-the-artCardiac Catheterization Laboratoryat Baystate Medical Center.
Four Cath Labs and one Neuro Lab supporting approximately4000 cardiac and neurovascular procedures annually.
Provides care for cardiac catheterization structural heart STEMI and neurovascular procedures.
Nurses are cross-trained inscrub monitor and circulator roles.
Collaborative team environment with comprehensive orientation and professional growth opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Massachusetts RN license
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Minimum one year of RN experience required
ADN required; BSN preferred
Critical care or Cath Lab experience preferred
SCHEDULE:
Per Diem (23 shifts per week)
MondayFriday
Hours are Monday-Friday no holidays
The department does provide call coverage for emergencies 7:30p-7am and on weekends and holidays
