Per Diem Occupational Therapist-MSM-Days

The Per Diem Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients and facilitating rehabilitation and independence. Develops and designs treatment plans for physically mentally and/or emotionally disabled patients. Occupational Therapists enable enhance and improve patients ability to gain independent productive daily living and working environments.

evaluates and treats all patients

and charts evaluations and progress notes following note writing guidelines

knowledge and principles and theories relating to effective patient care.

OT students as assigned

volunteer staff as assigned.

appropriate patient rounds kardexes conferences; presents information to all present.

equipment and treatment area in a clean safe and efficient manner.

standards of practice/care in the treatment of all patients.

treats the assigned number of patients.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
• Knowledge of principles methods and procedures for diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of physical and cognitive dysfunctions

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70.62 - $70.62 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need.
