Peptide Biochemist

• Perform peptide synthesis for small scale production
• Clean and maintain synthesizers
• Execute automated purifications using chromatographic techniques including but not limited to HPLC UPLC LC-MS
• Prepare buffers and solutions; maintain inventories and lab equipment
• Document assay data and contribute to study reports
• Operate program and perform high throughout testing using laboratory automation and liquid handling
• Perform experiment documentation/notebook
• Assist in any troubleshooting operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
• Develop and maintain knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations
• Interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant laboratory experience
  • HPLC UPLC LCMS buffer prep peptide synthesis 
• Strong scientific organizational and computer skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated adaptable and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality data delivery using ALCOA principles

Additional Information :

• Position is full-time first-shift Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM. 

• Base pay is between $23.50 - $25.50.
