Description

Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine are actively seeking pediatric pulmonologists to join our Division of Pulmonology Medicine. The successful candidates will be a key member of our growing team of 28 pulmonologists 16 advanced practice providers and 14 PhDs.

The pulmonology team includes research faculty with a broad range of expertise but with a strong focus on cystic fibrosis asthma and other airway diseases. Staff members also have expertise in treating medically complex children from birth through 21 years of age including those with craniofacial abnormalities and genetic syndromes. We have a busy and diverse clinical service with experienced faculty who specialize in pulmonary hypertension aerodigestive disorders sleep medicine pulmonary sickle cell disease technology-dependent children severe asthma and cystic fibrosis.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited four-year medical school.
  • Graduate of an accredited post graduate residency program in Pediatrics.
  • Graduate of an accredited post graduate fellowship program in Pulmonology.
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology or Med/Peds.
  • Licensed in the state of Georgia current DEA registration BLS and PALS certification.

Candidates with an interest in teaching quality improvement research and long-term clinical care of the complex pediatric pulmonary patient are encouraged to apply.

Employment will be in the Emory Childrens Pediatric Institute.
