Pediatric Palliative Physician

Inova L.J. Murphy Childrens Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join our team. This physician will provide specialized family-centered care to children and adolescents with serious complex or life-limiting conditions working collaboratively with patients families and multidisciplinary care teams to improve quality of life manage symptoms and support families throughout their childs healthcare journey. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to compassionate communication interdisciplinary collaboration and the delivery of high-quality comprehensive pediatric palliative care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.

• Training: successful completion of Pediatric residency program andsuccessful completion of Hospice & Palliative Medicine (HPM) fellowship.

• Board Certification:Board eligible or board certifiedin Pediatric Palliative Care

• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start ACLS PALS

• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor

• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
