Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for the school year. This part-time onsite position offers a structured schedule a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to help students build essential life and academic skills.
About the Role
As a school-based OT you will help students develop the functional skills needed to succeed in the classroom and daily activities. Youll work with a diverse caseload supporting fine motor development sensory processing and independence with school-related tasks.
Schedule & Setting
- MondayFriday school hours
- Onsite placement within the School District
- No evenings or weekends
- School holidays and breaks off
- Team-focused supportive environment
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active State OT license (or ability to obtain)
- NBCOT certification preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support students with fine motor sensory and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Hawaii State and district requirements
