JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Puyallup WA
Service Setting: Outpatient Community Health Center
Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Coverage Period: ASAP 3 Months with possibility to extend
Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00a 5:00p with 1-hour unpaid lunch
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Newborns through Pediatrics
Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 16 patients per day
Case Mix: General Pediatric outpatient care
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic equipment
Specialty Backup Available: Onsite pediatricians and behavioral health support
Support Staff Available: Dedicated medical assistant receptionists mental health therapists dietitians and healthcare administrator
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 23 weeks

Pediatric wellness exams
Sick visits and acute pediatric care
Preventive pediatric care and immunizations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Active Washington NP license required
BC/BE required
Active Washington DEA required
BLS required
Clean Record
COVID and Flu vaccinated
Experience in outpatient community health or vulnerable populations preferred
Must be proficient with Epic EMR and able to work in a fast-paced environment
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for newborns through adolescents
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Document patient encounters accurately within Epic EMR
Collaborate with multidisciplinary support staff and providers
Deliver compassionate care to vulnerable and diverse patient populations
