REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Coding

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Licenses: Arizona Medical License Required or IMLC LOQ
Willing to License: Yes
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS and PALS Required
Experience: Minimum 5 years of PICU experience
Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable managing pediatric patients ages 018 in the PICU and inpatient pediatric setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 24-hour Pediatric Critical Care on-call coverage.
Conduct morning rounds and manage Pediatric ICU patients.
Evaluate and manage pediatric patients ages 018.
Provide care for approximately 715 patients per day.
Respond to clinical needs throughout the 24-hour coverage period.
Collaborate with onsite Nurse Practitioners and hospital clinical staff.
Complete required coding and clinical documentation.
Document patient care using Cerner.
Maintain compliance with facility credentialing and clinical requirements.
