PE Quality Assurance

Rambus a premier chip and silicon IP provider is seeking to hire an exceptional Quality Engineer to join our IC Operations-Quality team in the USA. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Quality Engineer the candidate will be reporting to the QA Director and is a full-time position. We are looking for innovative proactive and experienced quality engineer to support customer quality and drive supplier quality to consistently meet Rambus and customer requirements.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite allowing for two days of remote work.

• Coordinates customer requirements review with various teams to ensure Rambus has the capability and capacity to support the requirements.

• Acts as the main day to day contact for customers on issues and requirements and collaborates with the internal teams and suppliers for a timely issue or request resolution.

• Provides support and coordination of customer quality surveys and audits of Rambus or its suppliers.

• Manages and supports customers new product approval process and requirements.

• Direct interface and collaboration with suppliers to monitor and control supplier quality.

• Manages the flow down of special requirements to suppliers and ensures consistent compliance.

• Conducts supplier quality audits and periodic reviews covering QMS and processes.

• Drives supplier quality improvements through supplier audits supplier quality reporting and corrective actions.

• BS Degree in an Engineering discipline.

• Min. 5 years experience in Quality Engineering supporting customers and suppliers in the semiconductor industry.

• Auditor certification (ISO 9001 Supplier Audit) a plus

• Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and use of analytical and problem-solving tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group internally and externally with customers and suppliers.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $141000 to $212000. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions.
