PC Maintenance Technician Systems Support Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated PC Maintenance Technician to provide essential system support and troubleshooting services in a fast-paced work environment.

As a PC Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining analyzing troubleshooting and repairing computer systems hardware and peripherals. Your role includes supporting user accounts installing software and hardware and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain user account information including rights security and systems groups.
• Provide routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software hardware or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service if necessary.
• Install computer hardware software and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• May aid in the development of system documentation and procedure manuals as required.
• May facilitate and conduct training sessions for company employees in the operation of software/hardware systems.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of a wide variety of software hardware and PC operating systems preferred.
