Payroll Systems Manager

In this vital role the Payroll Systems Managerwilllead thepayroll team and providetechnicalleadershipon HRIS systemsforpayroll operations.

The Payroll Systems Manager will:

• manage payroll processes through softwaresystems from timekeeping to accounting and all related payroll reporting ensuring accuracy and compliance
• analyze improve and update end-to-end timekeeping and payroll workflows by understanding business needs and collaborating with HR and finance teams
• supervise and prepare the payroll process with the team to ensure a timelyandaccuratebiweekly payroll from time entry to completion offunding
• review configurations affecting payroll andtests payroll/timekeeping functionality.Identify opportunities for automation efficiency and risk reduction; implement best practices and continuous improvements
• collaboratewith software vendors and HR teams to troubleshoot and resolve system performance gaps and payroll relatedissues
• run and review audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll data
• participate in audits special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
• manage all payroll data related to journal entry preparation accruals expenseetc.
• demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and to streamline work processes
• manage payroll related year end processesi.e.closing payroll year finalizingW2 etc.
• support the CFO and other Finance leadership in completion of business-critical activities aboutpayrolldata

This position requiresstrong analytical skills and asolid understanding of all aspects of payroll.

Salary: $85000 - $87000/year depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Bachelors Degree preferred;High School Diploma
• At least five years of payroll experience
• Experience supporting HRIS timekeeping andpayrollrelatedsystems:UKG PRO and WFMand Paylocity preferred
