Summary

Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of customer payments encompassing checks wire transfers and credit card charges while ensuring all data is recorded with precision in our financial databases.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of payment batches against bank statements and internal ledgers to detect and rectify any variances immediately.
  • Track account statuses to identify overdue balances and trigger necessary communication steps in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Keep thorough and organized documentation of all financial interactions to ensure full compliance with internal audit standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Partner closely with the customer service department to handle billing questions and resolve payment disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Produce periodic financial reports detailing payment throughput outstanding receivables and collection performance metrics for executive review.
Requirements
  • Possess at least 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in payment processing accounting or a comparable administrative capacity.
  • Demonstrate advanced competence with payment processing platforms and standard office productivity software.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential financial data with the utmost integrity.
  • Show strong organizational capabilities and the capacity to manage high-volume transaction streams within strict deadlines.
  • Possess superior written and verbal communication skills to engage professionally with clients and internal partners.
  • Be capable of working autonomously and adjusting quickly to the evolving operational demands of the Energy and Utilities industry.
