Patient Services Rep II-Full-time Onsite Mercy Clinic Whiteside Springfield

Position performs to process accounts according to the state they are in the Self Pay accounts tasks include working with patients accounts to determine resolution to obtain role is flexible with all the tasks in the department with responsibility to be a mentor and perform education sessions with incumbent will be asked to continuously develop their skills in the department to serve where the volume of processing is needed and take on projects. It is the role of this position to learn the workflows policies and procedures to ensure accurate processing timeliness and excellent communications in aiding peers patients and other duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.

Minimum Required QualificationsEducation:High School Degree or :N/AExperience:1 year prior Revenue Cycle Experience preferred or meets position specific responsibility and Skills and Knowledge:Prefer the following: Basic Excel Word Computer and Keyboarding Skills. Healthcare billing insurance experience and Epic knowledge required. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
