Job Summary
Position SummaryThe role of Patient Driver & Transportation Associate is to maintain safety and provide exceptional service to patients requiring assistance moving from the hospital to their home or discharged location post-hospital release. The patient driver must have excellent driving skills a professional demeanor and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and their patient service care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction by providing exceptional guest with the patient to ensure that departure from the hospital is smooth and a safe comfortable ride experience from the hospital to their discharge transport patients to and from medical appointments hospital visits or other healthcare-related the vehicle is clean well-maintained and equipped with necessary medical supplies such as oxygen tanks or first-aid patients enter and exit the vehicle assisting with mobility devices or other medical equipment as all traffic laws and regulations always maintaining a safe driving open communication with patients families and healthcare providers to meet all transportation any incidents accidents or vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate to organizational policies and procedures including patient confidentiality and exceptional customer service to patients and their families demonstrating empathy and understanding for their unique for the safety and well-being of all team members customers/patients and any other duties assigned explicitly by a supervisor or :Years of Experience: Entry LevelLanguage Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and writtenEducation Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDRequirements:Clean driving record with an active drivers licenseAble to push patients in wheelchairs and assist with entering and exiting the vehicleAble to sit for prolonged periodsAble to walk short distancesAble to engage and provide exceptional service in all interactionsAble to see read and understand the small print
