UFlex Float Pool offers the opportunity to care for a wide variety of Acute Care patients across Northside Hospitals legacy campuses (Atlanta Cherokee and Forsyth.) This position consists of a 1 shift per week commitment. Our team also enjoys self-scheduling!

The Patient Care Technician provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort safety and personal needs of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Performs duties with the construct of a unit-based self-directed patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed members.

1. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
2. Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry

OR

Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

OR

Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)

OR

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

1. One (1) year of patient care experience as a CNA PCT Military Medic ED Tech or other relevant acute direct patient care experience.

PREFERRED

1. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
