DUBUQUE IOWA (USA).MercyOneHealth Group - Dubuque Iowa is seeking a full-time board-certified/eligible pathologists trained in both anatomic and clinical pathology.

Part-time status will also be considered.

No specific subspecialty training isrequired; however cytopathology training would be looked upon favorably.

A generous sign on bonus of $100k is currently being offered.

Located on the Mississippi River Dubuque is a city with a population of approximately 60000 and the hospital system serves a patient base of approximately 140000.

Position Details:

The candidates would join another Pathologist and Pathologists Assistant who are colleagues of a collegial group of seven pathologists and two Pathologists Assistants in a nearby city Davenport Iowa.

The pathologists oversee and provide medical directorship for two community hospitals a large multispecialty medical clinic and a rural access hospital in a nearby community.

The caseload includes approximately 14000 surgical cases (mixture of biopsies and resections) 2000 non-GYN cytology cases 8000 GYN cytology cases and rare autopsies.

Radiologic guided fine-needle aspirations and EBUS cases are attended for adequacy/rapid interpretation.

No specific subspecialty training isrequired; however cytopathology training would be looked upon favorably.

Requirements:

Must be BC/BE.

Havegood communicationand interpersonal skills and value good relationships with clinical colleagues.

A willingness toparticipatein the clinical lab management and hospital committees including tumor board.
