Walters Wedding Estates a Walters Hospitality brand is actively seeking professional self-motivated skilled cake decorators/bakery assistants to create dream wedding cakes for our Brides in a fun working environment. This person can adapt and learn quickly.

This is a part-time position only. This employee will be scheduled when needed and the schedule fluctuates in line with how busy the wedding season gets. There will be weeks where you may not be needed during slow periods. Normal bakery operating hours are 9:30am-6pm. Weekend availability required for deliveries - must have clean driving record and be able to carry 50lbs.

Job Overview and Requirements:

• Location: Hickory Creek TX
• Job Hours: Part-Time
• Pay: $15-$18 per hour
• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent culinary degree preferred
• Required Experience: Minimum 2yearsof cake decorating experience
• Certifications: ServSafe Food Handlers or equivalent
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for baking cakes desserts and cake decorating.
• Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone horizontal stucco wedding dots and palette.
• Must have a working knowledge of food coloring fondant edible images and cake design.
