We are currently searching for a full-time parts manager for our maintenance shop to work alongside 12 diesel mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the maintenance team to keep accurate records of inventory levels
- Coordinate use of parts and equipment throughout the shop
- Purchase tools and equipment then organize shipments and examine for quality and accuracy
- Stage parts and equipment for work orders and PM (preventative maintenance)
- Keep purchase orders organized while maintaining a clean work environment in the parts area
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of maintenance systems preferably working with diesel trucks
- Strong attention to detail and maintaining organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with business related information
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office and general computer programs
- Prior inventory or maintenance experience is strongly preferred
- CDL A or B is helpful but not required
- Active Drivers License is required
